Thanksgiving Look(s)

I honestly cannot believe we are talking about Thanksgiving already. I swear it was just Summer and we were racing to swim lessons and eating lunch outside every single day. Kenny is now almost half way through P4 and Andy and I actually need to start looking at schools for next year for our little guy- but that is another post for another day. And Matilda is 2 1/2 going on about 20. She told me the other day that her cardiologist was cute. WTF!

Anyhow, moving on to Thanksgiving looks, because it is in fact that time of the year. What is your family's tradition as far as dress code goes? Do ya'll dress up in dresses and suits? Do you sit in sweats/jammies all day? Or do you go somewhat festive casual? We go festive casual at our home. Even if we don't go "home" for the holiday we still put on jeans and somewhat festive/cozy clothes.....until we eat, then we straight up go cozy clothes! :) So with that said, I've put together a few festive Thanksgiving looks that could be worn over and over throughout the Winter.

Booties

Look 1: I'm having a hard time deciding which looks is my favorite, but this first look is totally my jam. I'm a sucker for a graphic tee and when they actually apply to the occasion, all the better. Leopard print is always showcased in the Fall, but I feel like this year it is all the rage. And I've now mentioned these booties no less than 10 times. They're seriously the greatest. This would be so cute and if you celebrate Thanksgiving throughout the weekend, then this is even cuter.

Sneaks

Look 2: You guys I have these jeans in a neutral denim color and they are my favorite jeans BY FAR. I recognize that they are silly expensive, but they are really that comfortable. And they're made and designed in the U.S.A. I mean at some point if we want businesses to stay here in the states, then we have to buy the stuff- amiright? Anyhow, they're great. I wore this sweater in our family pictures last month and it's such a great neutral. Also it's a boyfriend fit, so it's a style that would be a little forgiving on a day when the goal is to eat a lot- just sayin! And then paired with the sneaks and a fun leopard scarf adds a little pop.

Boots

Look 3: This is certainly a more comfy-cozy look, but polished and put together as well. These Live In High Waist Leggings are the bomb dot com. They are the best quality for a more affordable price than other athleisure brands. I own a couple colors and primarily wear them as fashion leggings. This sweater has also been all over the internet and if you follow bloggers on Instagram, I'm sure you've already seen it. I don't own this, but it looks cozy and like something that should belong in my closet. ;) I'm also a big fan of these tall boots, which I think I've already mentioned. They are classic, comfortable and last forever. By the way, I swear Frye is not paying me- I just really love the quality of their stuff. Coming from a girl that was on her feet all day every day and is about to be again, you cannot put a price on comfortable footwear. And then all you really need is a statement earring and you're good to go. These mixed metal hoops are my favorite - you'll see them featured again soon. ;)

Wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving!
