Men's Gift Guide 2020

Gift giving is something I love. I like to take note and think about gifts for a bit of time, but guys can be tough and can easily monopolize all the brain power surrounding gift giving. And let's be honest, the dudes are the naughtiest each year so who actually knows what they deserve.....kidding! Jokes. Jokes. Jokes. Anyhow, I do feel like most people struggle with buying for the fellas, so I'm kicking off gift guide season with a few ideas for the guys in your life (boyfriends, dads, FIL, hubs, etc).

  1. Patagonia nano puff hoodie: Everyone needs a jacket and this jacket is a good staple for any guy to have in his closet. I'm also a big fan of the Patagonia down hoodie for the chillier days. You absolutely cannot go wrong with either one. Both are durable, warm and a great layer in their own way.

  2. Blackstone Griddle: Okay ladies and gentlemen this is the grand slam gift this year. For real, it's the jam and if your main guy enjoys grilling this is what they need. I've never had a better steak, burger or crunch wrap supreme (think vintage Taco Johns) than I have on this bad boy. My hubs received one for his birthday and within days convinced four of his best guy friends to buy one. It is seriously amazing.

  3. Cocktail glasses: We love a good cocktail at our house and everyone loves a good cocktail glass. It's fun to reach in the cupboard for something a little fancy to drink out of no matter the night. This would also make a great host/hostess gift, although those will probably be (or should be) limited in 2020.

  4. Sneaks: Who doesn't love sneaks? The hubs scored these sneakers early this Fall and has been wearing them non stop. He even wears them while working from home - perhaps to feel like his look is complete? I have no idea. But I do know he likes them and they would be the perfect gift for a new BF.

  5. Sawzall: My oldest brother swears by this tool. He says it's the tool he uses the most around his house and is by far the most versatile. He tends to not say much so when he does, I try and listen. If your favorite fella is in need of a saw that cuts lots of different things (think landscaping, house projects, etc) this is the gift for them. It would also be a great gift for someone that is a new home owner and has lots of home projects to accomplish.

  6. Gloves: much like a good coat, everyone needs a good pair of gloves. Something warm, something durable, and something that will last. The last thing you want is cold fingers on a super frigid day. AmIright?

  7. Temperature gun: Go with me here - Is your guy a grill connoisseur or someone that likes to smoke meat? If so, this temperature gun is the cat's meow. It will tell you how hot your cooking surface is so you can get a gauge of what temp is ideal for cooking certain foods, which apparently can make a big difference in the quality of what you're eating. Who knew?

  8. Vineyard Vines Half Zip: This is actually on every one of my hubs wish lists (birthday, Father's Day, Christmas, etc). He loves this half zip. He owns a couple colors and seriously asked for another one this Christmas. Haha. It's light weight and easy to wear Fall through Spring and even a great layer for a chilly Summer night. It would also be a perfect gift for a FIL or Dad.

I hope these gifts for the guys are helpful. And hopefully all versatile and things that could be used during this crazy time of life.

Cheers to the kick off of the gift giving season!
