Jumping for Jumpsuits
Do y'all like jumpsuits? If you would have asked me a year ago, I would have said, "No!" Like a hard "no, I don't actually own one single jumpsuit." And here is why.... I've learned jumpsuits are tricky from day one. Not all are all that flattering on a woman that has had 2 sections. I'm proud of my body, but some things just don't go back to the exact same. AMIRIGHT, mamas? I also found that some are too tight on the chest but baggy in the torso or vice versa #annoying. And the ultimate reason that I delayed buying the most comfortable fashion trend of all time is because I get extremely anxious if I feel like I'm being held hostage when I have to pee or use the restroom in general. I can handle peeing in my birthday suit and having my britches touch the ground, but there is just nothing worse than feeling like you gotta go and not being able to maneuver your wardrobe. Please tell me I'm not alone?
With all that said, my opinion has recently changed - In a big way! I've fallen madly in love with jumpsuits. It just took finding the right one(s), like this off the shoulder number from Opalane Boutique in my hometown of Eldora, IA, to change my mind. And I've been pairing everything with my tan leather Frye mules. I've worn them all Summer long and am confident they will transition nicely into Fall. Clearly, I feel like I'm super late to the jumpsuit game, but gosh, this is a classic case of better late than never. I have never been so glad to arrive at a fashion trend. Now if you all are wondering, I do not own a romper. I'm just not there yet. But I am jumping for jumpsuits and my closet now houses 4 I believe.
P.S. I actually tried jumping in this jumpsuit, but the ruffle kept flapping in my face. Can't win 'em all!

For those that like color: Red is not my color, but for some it is and the ruffle detailing is gorgeous!
The jumpsuit I wanted: This would be great for Summer holidays, beach vacations and lake trips. It could also be the perfect swimsuit cover-up. It could easily take you from the boat to the bar or the pool to the grocery store. It sold out in my size online! I love the smocking on top.
